Insight, self-understanding, and growth

Warm, collaborative, depth-oriented psychotherapy — a space to understand yourself more fully and move toward meaningful change.

Jordan Nardone, Registered Psychotherapist

About Jordan (she/her)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (NB, Canada) after a decade-plus career as a massage therapist, therapeutic yoga instructor, and community organizer.

My approach

I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, depth-oriented approach — which means:

  • We work at your pace, with as much or as little detail as you're comfortable sharing, to process and integrate traumatic experiences within the safety of the relationship we build together.
  • I consider the individual and collective impact of oppressive systems that create and maintain power imbalances. I am curious about how your identity — the intersection of race, culture, class, age, size, gender, sexuality, and ability — shapes your experience.
  • We work together to explore long-standing patterns and understand the meaning behind emotions and experiences, to support growth, insight, and change.

My style

My style is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I listen closely for emotional and relational patterns, gently challenging what no longer serves while supporting new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Areas of focus

Relationships & attachment Family of origin challenges Neurodivergent identity Trauma Boundaries & communication Confidence, self-esteem & body image Perfectionism Parenting challenges Identity Life transitions Depression & low mood Anxiety, stress & burnout Grief & loss

I'm the right therapist for you if…

  • you're looking for someone who holds space for diverse experiences and complexity.
  • you're seeking to understand how past experiences shape your adult relationships and sense of self.
  • you're wanting to deepen your awareness of what matters most while navigating anxiety, shame, or painful relationship dynamics.

If we work together, you can expect to feel…

Safe Supported Heard Curious Seen Gently challenged Empowered Validated

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…

  • relational trauma, emotional intensity, and neurodivergence. I'm attuned to how early dynamics shape the nervous system and influence how we relate, feel, and cope.
  • self-criticism, creative blocks, and burnout. I understand the push-pull between ambition and rest, and how internalized pressure can leave us stuck, doubting, or numb.
  • how identity, culture, and systemic forces shape our inner worlds, relationships, and evolving sense of self.
